NUSA DUA, Indonesia, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Indonesia's strategy to raise the mandatory palm oil material of biodiesel to 40% next year from 35% will need extra feedstock supply of around 3 million metric tons, a senior Indonesia Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) official said on Friday.
Indonesia's crude palm oil output is seen at 48 million metric loads in 2024, down 4% from last year, but is anticipated to increase to 50 million in 2025, GAPKI advisory board member Joko Supriyono told the Indonesia Palm Oil Conference in Bali.
